  5. The mixture will begin to thicken within five to seven minutes. Add cardamom powder and food color.

  6. Keep stirring until it reaches the consistency of halwa and leaves the pan's sides.

  7. Add fried nuts and raisins, mix well.

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a cake tin.

  2. Beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy.

  3. Add eggs one by one, beating after each.

  4. Sift in flour and baking powder, fold gently.
