  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/4 cup grated coconut

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or any cooking oil

Steps

  1. Peel the raw bananas and chop them into small cubes.

  2. Boil them in water with a pinch of turmeric and salt until just tender. Drain and set aside.

  3. In a pan, heat oil. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.

  4. Add green chilies and curry leaves. Sauté for a few seconds.

  5. Add the boiled banana pieces, turmeric, and salt (if needed).

  6. Mix gently and cook on low flame for 3–4 minutes.

  7. Add grated coconut and toss well. Serve warm.


2. Raw Banana Cutlets 



Ingredients

  • 2 boiled raw bananas

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1 green chili, finely chopped

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder

  • Salt to taste

  • Chopped coriander leaves

  • Breadcrumbs (optional, for coating)

  • Oil for shallow frying

Steps

  1. Mash the boiled raw bananas in a mixing bowl.

  2. Add onions, green chili, coriander, garam masala, cumin, and salt.

  3. Mix well to form a dough-like consistency.

  4. Shape into small cutlets or patties.

  5. Optional: Coat each cutlet in breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.

  6. Heat a pan with 1-2 tbsp oil and shallow fry the cutlets on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.

Ingredients

  • 2 raw bananas, peeled and cubed

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

  • Salt to taste

  • 1/2 cup grated coconut

  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

  • 2-3 green chilies

  • 1 tsp mustard seeds

  • 1 sprig curry leaves

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Steps

  1. Cook the raw banana cubes in water with turmeric and salt until soft.

  2. Make a coarse paste by grinding cumin seeds, coconut, and green chilies.

  3. Add this paste to the cooked bananas and simmer for a few minutes.

  4. In a separate pan, heat coconut oil, add mustard seeds, and let them pop.

  5. Add curry leaves, sauté for a few seconds, and pour this tempering into the curry.

  6. Mix well and serve hot with rice.


4. Raw Banana Chips (Air Fried / Baked)



Ingredients

  • 2 raw bananas

  • 1 tsp coconut oil or olive oil

  • Salt to taste

  • Pepper or chili powder (optional)

Steps

  1. Peel and thinly slice the raw bananas using a slicer.

  2. Soak in salted water for 10 minutes, then drain and pat dry.

  3. Toss the slices in oil, salt, and optional spices.

  4. Preheat the air fryer or oven to 180°C (350°F).

  5. Air fry or bake for 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until crisp.

5. Raw Banana & Moong Dal Sabzi



Ingredients

  • 1 raw banana, peeled and cubed

  • 1/4 cup yellow moong dal (soaked for 30 mins)

Steps
